Working group "geocat.ch connect"
Topic: Within this working group, we would like to work together with interested parties from the geocat.ch community to optimise the collection of metadata and interoperability with other platforms.
- Optimised and, where possible, automated collection of metadata, in particular of attributes of the data sets and code lists; this will, among other things, make geodata easier to find
- Testing of technical solutions to maintain a single point of entry while ensuring optimal interoperability with other platforms (I14Y, opendata.swiss, cantonal portals, etc.)
- Development of interfaces/plugins (INTERLIS, DCAT, INSPIRE, RDF, ...).
Working group "connect"
Topic: This group will focus on optimising the processes for capturing geometadata and metadata, as well as code lists. The aim of this group is to work closely with I14Y and the federal offices in particular to find the best solution.
